Emma Williamson is a fiction writer and poet from Toronto, Canada. She practiced corporate law for eleven years before leaving to write full-time.

Her poetry is philosophical and motivational, while her fiction tends towards the dark and psychologically intense.

She studied at The Humber School for Writers under the mentorship of critically acclaimed Canadian novelist Trevor Cole.

Emma’s short fiction has been published by Dark Moon Digest and Toasted Cheese Literary Journal, and her poetry has appeared in several anthologies. She has received various writing prizes, most notably being selected as a finalist for Canada’s prestigious 2020 Alice Munro Short Story Prize.

Emma is currently at work on her second novel and various other writing projects. She lives in Toronto with her husband and two young sons.
